Copenhagen - Editing bitmap much more inconvenient

Hi!

Before Copehhagen, when I edited a bitmap, the resulting image would trim transparent pixels automatically. Now, the image dimensions stay the same, which is inconvenient to me. Furthermore, to trim the transparent pixels, I have to go into the Layer menu → Image → Trim transparent pixels. Is there a way to re-enable automatic trimming, or to add the functionality to the top toolbar so it’s not as inconvenient?
