Beta Login Password auto-complete fails

When opening Sketch Beta client on MacOS 26.0.1, I was prompted to login (had previously been logged in). After putting in my email, the window changes to show the enter password view. At first, this included a small popup under the password input box saying “Passwords”, which presumably meant it’s supposed to work with Apple Passwords. I clicked this, and nothing happened. So my instinct was to click outside the input box to deactivate the password field, then click into it again so the “Passwords” popup would appear. However, it’s not possible to deactivate the password field; clicking outside of it has no effect.

If this is supposed to be able to be auto-completed with Apple Passwords, then this bug report is both for that not working, as well as the inability to unfocus the password input box so that you can attempt to get the little Password prompt to appear upon re-focus.

This is the Passwords prompt I was referring to that does nothing. Clicking it simply closes it. I got it to reappear by going back and entering my email again.

Hi Eric,

I’ve been able to reproduce this issue. Curiously, this works as expected on Sequoia, but not on Tahoe. I’m filing this internally and our engineers will look into it.

Thanks for reporting!
