Would be awesome to be able to save Document Groups that function like Safari Tab Groups, so that you can quickly change context between different projects.
This could be accessed via a new icon in the Documents header row, alongside the New Document and Hide Documents List buttons.
For context, I currently switch between 4 unrelated projects, and my options are to either:
- have all relevant tabs open at the same time
- bad for performance
- not easy to manage longer term
- bad for screen sharing xD
- have more than one window with different tab groups
- bad for performance
- not easy to manage longer term
- bad for window management
- open/close documents on demand
- tiring workflow, requiring frequent switching around of areas of focus
P.s. a really cool extension to this idea could be to allow selection of local directories and/or Sketch Cloud directories to serve as linked references for tab groups, so that if you add/remove documents from said directory, your directory group updates automatically.
