Moving away from having every file be a window is nice. That window management workflow was crazy. But why list files in a list vertically over pages? You’re mixing the mental model of pages with files. The ui distinction is not different enough. They even have the same text styling and hierarchy. Why not use tabs?
This detail is driving me nuts. I’m constantly trying to comb through pages in my file and accidentally tapping into different files (also why use “documents?” Ppl don’t use that vernacular. Tabs would address this).
