Symbol override search field

Not a bug but more of a “please make this better - it’s not good” request.

I was trying to quickly change a lock icon from one symbol to another from the same icon library and when I search for it it does not show up, at all.
There are 8 “lock” icon variants within this library in this weight and instead of showing any in the search results I get around 50 "clocks, Clockwise, Capslock, Block from all different libraries.

*I guess its scanning all libraries and prioritising results A-Z across them all and capping the results to the result sheet view +50

When I select an icon it should open the override field at the selected icon in the list (I feel like it did that for a while a few versions ago and then disappeared!)

Search needs to prioritise current library weight (01)(ie regular, fill etc) then the next priority should be the library itself (02) (phosphor in this example)

I have shared this issue in the past (twice i think) Is it likely this will get an improvement any time ?

Hello there, @marktmcewan Mark

I’m happy to hear from you! The screenshots are nice, but the video is superb. It shows perfectly what you wanted to share with us, so I will speak with the Team in charge of this part of Sketch, and we will study our options here.

If you want, you can send me the Library to productsupport@sketch.com, and we will analyze the situation based on that file.

I can’t promise anything, but we will keep you updated and contact you as soon as we have more information.

In the meantime, I’m sorry for the time-consuming task that overriding symbols is now.

Cheers!
