Sketch UI scaling

Hey there!

I’m wondering how to scale the Sketch UI. It looks really bad on my 27” 4K display (I downgraded it to 2K), everything looks very small, and I hate that Sketch doesn’t let you adjust the UI size. Is there any workaround for this?

Hello @Qwen, and welcome to the forum!

I’m afraid there’s no way to change UI size within Skletch, sorry. If you don’t mind, I’m moving your post to the section Suggest and idea, where other users can vote and express their +1 to your question and talk about it.

Also, while we’re at it, could you tell us more about the display model you’re using and describe the specific parts of the UI where you struggle the most?

Having the tiny UI and clicktargets ist not user centric design.

Please have an old peoples mode which scales the UI.

I’m using Sketch on a Studio Display, and have my global resolution set to 1 notch towards “larger”, which scales up everything (including Sketch), however I still feel like Sketch’s UI is really small compared to most apps, the layer/page list in particular.

Hey @just! Sorry for the late reply. I’m using an ASUS ProArt PA279CRV, and it’s really annoying to work in Sketch when all the UI elements look so small.

Take a look at Figma — they allow UI scaling, and honestly, it’s a great feature. Its default UI size looks terrible on a 2K display as well.
