Hello everyone,
Since the last update, I’ve been having trouble sharing my prototypes. I used to share the prototype with our developers via a public link. Now, they can’t open it without a guest account, nor can they see the most recent page in the file.
I use the Mac app. Sharing doesn’t work either via the native app or the browser.
When I share the public link and open it without a Sketch account, I see this (see the screenshot)
Is anyone else having the same problem?
Thanks for reaching out—I’d love to help with this. I just tried sharing a public link and opening it in an incognito window, and I’m having different experience. I can open and inspect it with no issues.
That said, your report definitely caught my attention, and I’d like to dig in a bit more. Could you share a few more details with us at productsupport@sketch.com? Specifically, let us know if this is only happening with one document or if you’re seeing the same behavior elsewhere. Also could you share with us the URL for the affected document? That’ll help us better understand what’s going on and find a solution
Your question about whether all files are experiencing problems was a good point.
I created a test file and sharing worked without any problems.
My colleague then came up with the idea of duplicating the “problem file”, and now it’s finally working.
We haven’t found the original error, but perhaps it was bugged by the last update a few feeks ago.
