- Could we see a screen recording of that slowness if that’s possible?
- Also, to have an idea of the issue and try to reproduce, could you tell us the number of fonts installed in the Font Book app? You’ll see it here:
- In addition, the actual size of the Fonts altogether is a good indicator that will help us determine the root of the issue. Could you follow the following steps?

Go to Finder

Use the Shortcut
Shift + Command + G -
Paste /Library/Fonts/ in the window that will appear and hit Enter:

A Finder window will open. Just hit
Command + i -
Let us know the size of that folder. In my case it’s around 440MB:
6. Go to Finder, then use the same shortcut in step 2 and repeat the process, but in this case adding this in Step 3: ~/Library/Fonts/
Note that step 6 is necessary because you could have fonts installed in two different locations.
This information and the screen recording will help us reproduce and study the issue.

I use a font manager (Rightfont) where i have only a 100 active. No lag in Figma or other Apps (Illustrator, Affinity, Pages, …)
Click and 1s pause.

checked the same, delay about 1s even if disable all external fonts and leave only system

Hello, works better. First time opening the font panel is still with lag, but after that is quick.
i ahve checked this and it looks better
