I’ve been having performance degradation since the Copenhagen update. I’ve been using Sketch for a while now and have always had slight issues here and there but it feels like it just got worse.
For example, when I open a document and start clicking around, Sketch will become unresponsive and just hang for a while (and show the macOS cursor loader) as long as 10 minutes.
When opening and closing the font input, it will hang for 4/5s before it shows or hides. I saw someone else posted a similar issue and someone commented it could be due to the amount of fonts it has to load but I have maybe 10 additional fonts to the macOS default ones so I don’t think it’s related to the list size.
The UI updates are great and I know the amount of work/effort that goes into building a quality product like Sketch but the issues mentioned above really makes my day to day much harder.
Hopefully these can get fixed in future updates!
