Main use case for this for me was always the Symbols page and having ways to organize it automatically. I was never a fan of organizing things manually into nice sections that you then need to maintain. Instead I was always using Symbol Organizer plugin and similar tools. It would be great to have these tools built in to not rely on plugins. Also, there is an opportunity to advance its capability and maybe offer some automatic section creation with section titles and similar things that help keeping things organized.
I was also thinking that maybe there is a way to replace a need for this by adding a different view in components mode, something that would look more like layout and all the groups would be sections on the layout. However, that might be complicated as it should allow drag and drop between sections and other features that components view has right now.
