I have text styles, that include a defined color variable, in a library and later reuse these styles on other libraries and documents.
In the library, the text style clearly shows the applied color variable name:
Both when I use that text style in other documents, the color value, and not the variable, is showed instead:
I’ve seen this happening in some texts, but not in others and I’ve also seen the same text showing correctly the variable color but, when selected again, showing the color value instead, so it feels really buggy. I’ve also sen this happening in the web.

Howdy!
Thanks for the report. Can you confirm if you enabled the option to *Include color in style *on the text style where the issue is happening?
You can check by:
Open the Library
Press ⌃2 (Control-2 to open Components View)
Click the Text Style button at the top
Find your Text Style and check if the option is enabled, and the style has the correct token applied to it.
Let us know!

Yes, the option is enabled and the right color token is applied.

We tried replicating this in various ways and just couldn’t get it to happen.
For every style we used, enabling the option (Include color in the style) always made it so the Color Variable shows up.
Do you have a sample document you can share with us, where we might have better luck?
