This is a really tedious, annoying bug that interferes with our day to day workflows - creating screens for a huge software organization. Basically:
- we have a design system based on component libraries we created in Sketch
- the key libraries are:
Color styles (our corporate color palette with named colors and hex values)
Text styles (a selection of font styles, sizes, colors, weights etc.)
When it works it’s great - but too often, when adding a new text object or symbol or even a shape - for some reason - the Color style is gone! This means you have to open the palette, click the dropdown from the Sketch default of ‘nothing’ and find the Corporate color palette for ‘Color styles’ and reassign it. Running into this multiple times a day is annoying to say the least!
The same thing happens with Text styles. The color palette is set to ‘nothing’
We need a bulletproof way of setting this globally so that the only color palette for any new doc or existing or new object - will ALWAYS be our preferred ‘Color styles’ - nothing else!
