Hi,

Anyone knows how to achieve attached animation in Sketch prototype?

Hi Thiha. If you are happy to have a quick snap between the different states on rollover, with no animation, then it’s really really easy to do with just one Symbol, with a second layer inside that Symbol set to Show Layer on Hover. See the attached video and document.

If you do need to have an animation of the image growing on rollover, then it would be a much trickier setup involving separate Canvas-level Frames for each.

Thanks Brett. I did exactly what you have shown in video but I am feeling it’s not as smooth.

Unfortunately, as this type of Animation only works on regular Frames/Screens, and not on Overlays, in order to do this, it would mean you would need to create separate entire Canvas-level Frames for every screen in your design. So although it can be made to work, if you are happy to repeat your screens multiple times over, it’s not recommended as a practical solution.
