Shift + Return doesn't work on text overrides

As you are aware, Shift + Return in a text does a line break instead of a paragraph newline.

But in text overrides, it doesn’t seem to make any difference between Shift + Return and just Return.
However, copy/pasting the glyph that does the line break works as expected…

Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

Hi there. I’ve just tested this and I’ve noted that the behaviour you are describing depends on where you are applying the text overrides.
If you apply the overrides via the text-field in the Inspector, then you are right, there is no difference made between Shift + Return and just Return on its own.
However, if you apply the overrides by typing directly into the Instance on your Canvas, then there will be a difference made between the two options.
I will pass this message on to the development team to have a look at, but in the meantime I would suggest you make use of the on-Canvas overrides method. Thanks.

Oh gee, thanks! I knew I was able to make Shift+Return before in overrides, but I wasn’t getting why I couldn’t now. Back to editing in Canvas, then.

And thanks to forwarding this to the team, I think this could be improved, perhaps adding a second modifier key, like Shift + Control + Return…
