In Figma is it possible to hold spacebar when dragging one element from one artboard or even the pasteboard over an artboard without moving it to the artboard layers group.
It’s useful for different use cases, but one of them is to be able to drag an element around without being cropped by the artboard.
By the way, being able to hide artboard elements overflow would be really useful. Some Apps like Affinity Designer and Illustrator have that option.
Assuming you had the option to control clipping for Artboard contents (which we have planned), what are some other uses for having a layer atop an Artboard but not in that Artboard, that aren’t covered by that option?
