Hey Widget wizards, this one’s for you Our next #SketchDesignChallenge is all about the perfect widget and this time we’re partnering with Basic Apple Guy to find it.
Submit your designs via a Workspace link under this post or on social media using #SketchDesignChallenge. Good luck!
Ayo, saw Basic Apple Guy’s post about this on Mastodon, and I thought this would be a fun thing to try . I created widgets for the messages app because it doesn’t have a widget and it really should.
My last entry for #SketchDesignChallenge is one for the bird watchers out there! The concept of the widget is based on a website which bird watchers use to share recent sightings of birds.
The idea is with such a widget, users can see top sightings as reported by other users, right on the Home Screen.
On the left of the widget, users can see which part of the park they are currently at.
On the right, users can see the top sightings of the day of the place they are at, with clickable buttons that bring them right in the app!
PS: Bird Lake Park is a fictional park. The map though, is based on a part of a real park here in Singapore.
