I often work with multiple artboards at the same time and sometimes layout distracts from a task. Is there an easy way to show/hide layout on all artboards on the page in one go?

Yes, there’s a handy way to do this! Basically, all you need is to press ⇧⌘A to select all the artboards and then use ⌃L to show or hide the layout columns.
The way I use it is by adding the Layout button to my toolbar:
And using it together with the ⇧⌘A shortcut to select all artboards.
