Option hide other non-selected artboards

Hello everyone, I frequently create multiple artboards as concepts and then make further iterations on a single chosen one. I wish there was an option that let me only show the selected artboard and hide every other one.

Does this functionality exist in Sketch right now? If not, what are the devs’ thoughts about implementing this?

Hey Rajdeep,

It’s currently not possible to hide Artboards in Sketch.

One workaround that comes to mind is creating a new tab for the Artboard you want to iterate on. It’s easy to return to the first tab if you wish to consult your earlier iterations, for example.

I got the same problem. Sometimes you just want to focus on a single artboard. I wish there’s a easy way to hide/show artboards similar to Finder’s “Hide Others”.

@christophersybico We’re going to replace Artboards with Frames in the next update. Among other things, this will allow you to nest multiple Frames, which might complicate this request a bit—although I suppose it could be possible to develop something that allows one to hide non-nested Frames.

Just downloaded beta.

At least I can now see a “hide” icon when I hover the parent frame.

An improvement. Unlike before where there is no option to even hide an artboard.

Im sure someone will create a plugin the will “hide other frames” at some point

Btw, adobe Illustrator has this functionality. Which I use a lot when creating complex graphics.
