I’ve been dealing with this issue for a while, and it’s getting really frustrating. Whenever I create a hotspot, the default animation style is set to Slide Left, which often causes interactions to behave incorrectly, sliding in the wrong direction. If I don’t catch it early, I end up with multiple messed-up interactions that take extra time to fix.
Interestingly, when I create interactions from objects or artboards, the animation is set to Instant by default, which works as expected. But for hotspots, it always defaults to Slide Left - why is this Slide Left by default?
Slide is trickier since it requires a manual decision every time - slide left, right, up, or down . If you’re not paying close attention, it’s easy to create a bunch of incorrect interactions before realizing the issue. I think “Instant” would cause fewer issues and be a safer default.
Anyone else experiencing this, or does anyone know a workaround?
Is there any way to set a default animation style for hotspots?
