Color folder visibility in Sketch Web Inspect

Hey there,

I just noticed something in Sketch Web Inspect and I’m not sure whether this behavior has recently changed or if it’s always been this way.

When selecting a color in the inspector, I can only see the document source, it doesn’t show which folder or group the color belongs to. The only way to see this is by clicking the color name in the secondary modal, which opens a new tab where the folder is shown (3 clicks away from the initial information!).

This workflow is quite impractical. It would be much more useful if the color’s folder appeared directly under the color name in the inspector window.

Hi Alice, thanks for reporting this.

We’ll take care of it. The idea is that the panel shows the full route. If the route’s too large for the panel, you’ll see it on hover.
