So recently my developper has be asking me to switch to Figma because he says he loses so much time integrating with Sketch.. I’m gonna try to make a few suggestions in the forum to see what can be helped.
In the Inspect mode, you have to dig to find the color overrides inside symbols, going to the actual polygon itself.
This can be annoying with complex symbols that have elements that might be hard to select. Using the layer selection dropdown is possible, but there’s also no way of keeping it visible.
In general, it doesn’t reflect how I use the app to change the colors of my symbols. With the ‘new’ override feature, making symbol variants for different colors isn’t necessary anymore. I usually select the symbol, and change the color. Voilà.
Having a feature in the inspect panel like Figma’s ‘selection colors’ would be very useful in my opinion.
