Latest Sketch (Version 2025.3.4 (221297)), just purchased (perpetual single person licence, ) and download from website (NOT from App Store), activated, cannot open Figma files. They are grayed out in open file dialog, and Sketch doesn’t accept dragging them.
Please help.

We’ve done some quick tests with the non-Mac App Store version, and we could select and import the .fig files, no problem.
Having them greyed out is exactly what the Mac App Store version shows, so this is a bit puzzling and we’d like to take a look at some samples if it’s possible.
Could you send them to productsupport@sketch.com so you don’t have to share them in the open? We’d like to do some tests and see if there are some changes in the files we should take a look at.

EDIT: could you try this: please make sure that you don’t have any trace of the Mac App Store version in your Mac when trying to import. Finder could mess with the filetype association if both versions are present.
