Video/GIF layers

Hello everyone,

So I don’t believe Sketch natively supports embedding videos or GIFs in layers at the moment, and for the project I’m working on currently it is absolutely necessary. It’s the only thing I’m having to switch to another design tool for (just to showcase that functionality in my prototype).

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can run short videos with loop, repeat, ping pong functionality in layers in Sketch?

Thank you for posting and for sharing this with us! Sketch currently does not support GIF/Video playback on Prototypes just yet.

However, we do have a request to enable Video playback on Protoypes, so this idea could probably work with GIFs as well. You can add your vote to request the feature here. :+1:
