Sharing documents like Invision

Hallo!!
So I watched all the videos possible on how to present a static artboard to a client, I still have problems understanding how it should be done, you keep saying it’s easy and intuitive but it’s not. For example I have 10 artboards on a file but I want to share just only one two or three of them with the client and I want it to be shown exactly as it was done in Invision, 100% size with the ability to scale down to the width of the browser, and eventually slide only the artboards that i need to show. I’ve tried but I still see ALL the artboards of the document!! You should create a single command as simple as Invision was!!! This thing gives me a lot of frustration! Is it so difficult to replicate the basic behavior of Invison??
In our agency we are on the verge of whether to decide to continue with sketch or change to figma (i’m on your side) but this point does not speak in favor of sketch.
Is it possible to have the same way of sharing files like Invision???
Given that the invision service will close on December 31st, is it possible to clarify this point once and for all?

Several people have requested this! The central thread for this idea is here: Hidden Pages - #4 by raulrincon

In the meantime one workaround I’ve found is to append some prefix to your artboard (like [external] or something), then on Sketch Cloud you search for [external] and instead of sharing your entire file with the client you share the URL pointing to those search results which will only show the artboards that match the search criterias.

It’s not amazing because the viewer can always find a way back to the entire document but it’s still better than nothing…

Thanks for the reply i will try this, but anyway is a workround idd like to know if they are working on something more concrete and fitfull because i think that this is an important topic, we need to find a fast solution since the Invison service will shut down in less than two months…

I’ve read elsewhere that the team is working on a feature to hide entire pages, but haven’t heard anything on hiding specific artboards :frowning:

Personally I thought this problem was resolved before Invision shut down and clock is ticking…
But am I the only one who thinks this is not a small thing?

Hey @Cux

We agree that this is an important topic. Tim, product manager of the Web team, has shared some insights around this here: Hidden Pages - #6 by tim

I hope this workaround works until we’ve found a solution.
