I believe the Sketch canvas is the ultimate workspace to elaborate anything you can imagine. So why you just don’t use it to spoke the release note instead of hardcoded window with simple text?
Imagine if a ReleaseNotes.sketch file opened automatically right after a new version of Sketch was installed. It would give you unlimited freedom to show us what you’ve cooked up in the latest release — with screenshots, contextual descriptions, and usage examples (if needed). You could demonstrate features in action and let users try them out immediately upon discovery, without having to record a video (which takes time, money, and—did I mention—time?)
Another thing: make it easy to revisit the release notes anytime. Sometimes I just tldr; them and want to check back a few hours or days later. Could you add a shortcut in the menu to open ReleaseNotes.sketch, or at least link directly to your website? Just one click. But honestly, I’d rather not jump to a web browser — it would probably distract me. Keeping work inside the work environment is .
