Prototype/Preview - problems with hdpi by using more than one display

I have an external monitor with a lower resolution than my MacBook. I primarily work on my external monitor, but occasionally open the preview function to test my screens on a smaller display.

  • opening the preview feature (cmd+P)
  • move the window to MacBook display
    → the screen is displayed at half size :disappointed:

Workaround:

  • closing window and reopening doesn’t work (preview window always opens on the display where sketch is running)
  • enter full screen/close full screen does work (but is pretty annoying)

Unfortunately, I can’t remember when the issue first popped up for me. Maybe a quarter to half a year ago. But I know that it used to work.

We don’t have an estimated time to release this yet, but I will make sure to get back to you once we have more information.
