Overlapping Symbols or anything with Stacks

I have an Issue on the Mac App (Version 2025.2.3 (205383))

I have older Projects where i use deprecated / legacy Smart Layout to stack cards for example or any object. Now in Stacks i can not overlap them anymore, i cant use negative padding or objects overlapping the symbol, like badges or similar. Workaround is to use a group. When using Stacks there is no layering anymore its all on the the same z-space.

Any ideas how to change? Is it a bug?

Thank you for posting this. Stacks does not currently support negative values. We plan to allow for negative padding in the future, but that is not the case for the moment.

In the meantime, if it is helpful, you could try to use the “ignore stack layout” option:
