Hey guys, I’m creating nested symbols with something like a video skimmer and would like to move the position of the skimmer to different places on different screens that I use it on. Does anyone know if you can override the X and Y positions of nested symbols in a symbol?

Hi there. 
You can easily do this using a Smart Layout Symbol, and just use a blank text field with as many override spaces as you need in it, to push the playhead along to wherever you want it to be in the timeline.
I’ve made a basic example file and included it here. I hope this helps.
