Since updating to Athens, I’ve noticed that a lot of my former artboards, now frames, are all locked and i cannot click any of the content.
It’s due to me having alpha masks locked and everything above (that is masked to it) are subsequently locked. Am i going mad, or did it not behave like this before and only the layer directly locked (the mask in this case) was unclickable?
Thanks for reporting. I’ve been looking for differences in behaviour between our latest version before Athens and the current version. After some basic tests, I can’t see any difference between the before/after involving locked alpha masks. However, I’m fully aware that I could be missing the point here. Could you share some of these documents? No need to be the whole document, just a couple of sample Frames will be enough.
Also, it would be ideal if you could share a version of these documents before they are opened with Athens so that we can study their structure.
On the other hand, I’m curious. Why would you lock alpha masks on top of everything in these Artboards (now Frames)? I would like to know more about your use case.
