List Mode in Components View

The current Grid mode works fine for browsing components but I find it to be quite inefficient for browsing text styles and colors, where you want to have high content density. In both cases the thumbnails are 80% white space and I feel like a list mode would be much more appropriate to display a list of colors and text styles. Am I alone thinking this?
