In the screenshot, Environments is the ‘active’ element. I want the purple rule underneath it to expand or contract with the label.
Is this possible using some additional layout/grouping within the symbol? Grouping and setting their layout to Horizontal L → R is not doing it… not sure if its possible

Sure, that’s easy to do. It’s the default behaviour when setting up a Smart Layout symbol. One click on the Smart Layout button, and that’s it. No additional grouping or anything required.
