is there a dark mode for artboards?

I’m working on images that have a faint glow around them and the artboard is always white. is there any way to make the artboard a dark color? the rest of the canvas is in dark mode, but the artboards are bright white distracting beacons. the only work around I’ve found is to put a layer of dark color in each artboard and then turning the layer off before export. this gets a bit tedious with 200 categories of images, each containing 20 or so artboards. I am using the artboards to make sure all of the exports have the same exact dimensions, so they’re kind of necessary. Any suggestions on how to get them to be dark would be greatly appreciated!

I think you can create artboard template. Create artboard as you like and then check the “template”.

As @yeb said, you can create a template and then:

  • Select all Artboards you want to apply this template too
  • Using the dropdown in the top right of the inspector, select the newly created Artboard Template
  • Done!

This will apply the style of this template Artboard to all you have selected :white_check_mark: (there might be some dimension changes, but those can be quickly fixed with the Fit button).
