Hello,
Do you know if it’s possible to import a site into Sketch, as proposed by a plugin like html.to.design for Figma?
Thanks to all!
Hi there Clément,
Welcome to the Forum! Sorry about the late reply ![]()
As far as I know, there are no current plugins that can import and convert HTML/CSS into editable Sketch layers. There’s an old plugin that did the job, named HTML-Sketchapp. You can stilll download it from Github, but it may not work in the latest versions. The last release of the plugin was about 3 years ago.
However, we recently received a new plugin submission that can create Sketch layers from screenshots. So if you need to turn a live website to a Sketch document, you can try this plugin as well. It’s a paid for plugin, but has a trial mode. Here’s the image to Sketch plugin
Hi,
Sketch doesn’t currently support importing a live website like**html.to.design** does in Figma. There are a few plugins, but they’re limited and not very accurate. For now, layouts usually need to be rebuilt manually in Sketch.

Hi folks. There’s good news with this! You can now use an AI agent and Sketch’s MCP server to do this!
Depending on which agent you use, you can tell it to look at a specific URL and then create that design in a Sketch document or give the agent a screenshot and create the design in Sketch.
I use Cursor and I need to give the agent a screenshot but the results are quite good. As with any agent, it pays off if you give the agent proper context like fonts, images and such.
I hope this helps ![]()
