Hey there!
With the new update to Athens and stacks there seems to be an issue or at least I cant figure it out: I created a card with an icon on the right upper corner and content (like text, images…) on the left — now in my instances of the symbol, my icon just stays put… this is super frustrating and I cant figure out why it doesn’t go with layout as it used to be
As you can see below — my icon is in carbon grey on the right outside the frame but it is in the frame in my symbol, I’ve tried grouping it but nothing changes…
pls help
Hello Dana,
Welcome to the Forum! And thank you for sharing this question.
I think this can be solved in a couple of different ways, depending what you want.
The first one, is to set the icon to ignore the stack:
- Select the icon layer, then Ctrl-click it and select the option “Ignore stack”
- This will allow you to put the icon wherever you want inside the stack
- You’ll see an on the layer list once you’ve set the icon to ignore the stack
The second option, is to wrap the icon inside another stack. Depending on the position the icon needs to have. In the screenshot, I can see that the icon aligns with the title “STANDORT” so I put that title and the icon inside a stack.
This option allows you to resize the stack and the icon will move accordingly
Here’s the Sketch document, I hope it helps and please let me know if I missed anything!
