How to set the default corner to Smooth

Hi.

I mostly use Sketch for designing custom SF symbols or icons for my app.

99% of the time I want corner to be Smooth. How do I set this as a default for applying corners? The default is Rounded for me.

I am using the latest Sketch version 2025.2.2 (205349) on macOS 26.0

Hi there. You can do this by dragging out an initial rectangle with your default styling, including the Corners set to Rounded. Change the Corners to Smooth, then select Layer > Style > Set as Default Style. Now all your layers will have Smooth Corners set, as soon as you draw them.
