As I already stated here: Symbol Instance Locator Plugin doesn't work since Sketch 96 the plugin “Symbol Instance Locator” no longer works since Sketch version 96. However, since locating instances of symbols is a very common scenario (not only) in my work, I would classify this as a feature request:
Dear Sketch team, please make it possible to find all instances within a Sketch document that use one or more symbols.
Including cases where a symbol instance might be applied as an override.
Yes, it’s essential. We should have it, along with all the other “Automation” features we use with plugins.
Yes, it would be VERY cool to see the different states and all instances in one place, I tried to use this plugin and it worked pretty well. Because our developers can’t see instances of a symbol in one place without too many clicks. We were just trying to display all instances next to the main symbol.
