My workflow has always been to export artboards (typically of the latest iPhone) @3-5x, and drop them into a keynote presentation. Obviously this often involves several dozen artboards at the very least.
For several releases now, every ~7-8 images I export is completely ruined by strange artifacts of the export. This totally ruins my flow when I drop the file into my keynote and realize I have to go back, find that exact artboard, re-export, find it again in finder, and drop in.
I know my colleagues are experiencing the same thing. This is basic, table-stakes stuff and I’m sorry, but it’s genuinely shocking this bug has persisted so long.
Hopefully this is something you’re aware of and a fix is in the pipeline?
Welcome to our community! Thank you for your report. Would you be able to share a sample document that we could use for testing? This would be helpful in further investigating the situation.
Hi @Cris. Unfortunately I’m not able to share my file for confidentiality. There’s nothing unusual about it though; liberal use of blurs, & layer effects, as one would expect in today’s design landscape.
Well, it looks like this has been quietly fixed! That’s great, thank you!
Not nearly as important, but the problem persists with the export previews in the inspector panel. They still display the rendering errors/artifacts, though the exports themselves do not contain the errors thankfully.
