Error encountered: :We could not reach the server to load your docu.."

Why am I seeing this when I try to open a Sketch file via my Mac app? Is this a Sketch issue, or an internal IT issue?

We’re not aware of any other users complaining about this, so my first thought here is about a restriction on your side that could be preventing your Mac from reaching our servers.

There are several blockers that could affect it, like a VPN, proxy or firewall, among others. If you’re in a corporate environment or working remotely, this could be the case.

This article in our Support site could help with that. Could you check it out and let us know if any of these could be your case?

If turns out that you have discarded every possible root cause described there, we’d like to retrieve some logs from you. Please follow these steps to generate them so you can send them our way. You can attach them to your answer here, or send them to our team in productsupport@sketch.com.
