[Beta] Ability to add corner radius to artboards

I often want to export mocks/screens/graphics with rounded corners. Right now it’s convoluted to have to create a shape with rounded corners, subtract it from a square shape that fills the artboard and then use that to mask the content within the artboard. It would be convenient if I could simply adjust the corner radius of the artboard and have that apply to exports.

Hey @jordanborth Welcome to the forum and thanks for the suggestion!

It’s a good idea and something we’ve discussed internally in the past. There are, however, no concrete plans yet. I’d like to encourage everyone interested to vote; that helps us further down the road. Thanks!

We’ll keep you posted if there’s news on this in the future.

Hey @jonne It’d be super awesome if groups and images could also have corner radius too.

Especially images. If I bring in an image without first making it the fill on a shape, I’d either have to a. go back and do that or b. create a mask object with a radius

@here This feature is available in our latest beta!

You can now apply a range of style properties to your Artboards (fills, shadows, rounded corners, etc.), create Layer Styles, and set your own default style for them.

You can also choose whether or not Artboards clip their content from the Inspector. Artboards no longer include shadows by default, giving your Canvas a cleaner look.
