Auto-layout + image mask bug

Spotted a bug here.

I have a group with an image mask. There is no auto-layout applied to the group, but when I delete the image within the mask the container shrinks. If I move the image so that you see a bit of the container, when I delete the image, the container moves to a different position.

Any ideas?

Nevermind, I figured it out. It was the auto layout applied to the larger group that caused it. That is not what I would expect to happen tbh.
