Thanks for the feedback.

Also if I add a layer style to an artboard that is later used as a symbol, it feels like the layer style should be available as an override.

We’re currently working on this. I hope we can show more in a future beta release.

Is there a beta version of the iPhone app too for previewing our new builds in Sketch Beta or would we need to wait for official release of 102?

Our iOS Beta should be up to date (Testflight link, if you’re not already part of it: Join the Sketch — View and Mirror beta - TestFlight - Apple) but do let us know if you run into any issues!

Note: As with the Mac beta, files you open in the iOS beta will become incompatible with the current stable release (101.8) so please make backups/use copies of documents.

The senses might be onto something. We’re hoping to release our new beta, which includes some long-awaited features. We’re all busy making it test-proof, and I hope we can share it this week :crossed_fingers:

Update: I had this browser tab open a day later and considered deleting this comment since I think I misinterpreted what was meant by “new beta”, but then I saw the little expand/collapse chevron in my quote, clicked it, and saw how it expands to show the whole post with the quote highlighted, and that.is.so.d_mn.cool!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Sketch’s web design AND dev team are absolutely bomb. World class. I’ve looked at the code, and it’s as gorgeous and well-structured as the UI it showcases. Absolute units. No pun intended.
