It would make our lives easier if we could apply Layer Styles overrides to Multiple Symbols. Now it has to be the same symbol to change it in bulk, but if I add just one different symbol then the option disappears.

Indeed, applying layer styles to multiple symbol instances can be a huge time saver. I’ve documented this as a feature request. Please feel free to share any other ideas or feedback you have about Sketch, cheers!
