Hi folks, I come to y’all with a provocative question.
Among the suggestions here is leading trim: the ability for the selection box of text layers to fall along the edges of characters, without the extra space above and first line — most commonly this is done along cap height and baseline.
This was also suggested in other topics [1, 2] by @technicarla and @leohans.
If we were to implement this, what are some reasons why we should NOT make it the default for new text layers? In other words, what are some use cases where do you actually want to have the extra leading inside the box?
