Hey guys,
I used to be able to set the min-width property for a Smart Layout, however, after I transformed my Smart Layout to Stack Layout, the min-width property disappeared, and I couldn’t find this property setting any more.
When using Figma, I can set a ‘Min width‘ or ‘Min height’ for an element in the ‘Resizing‘ dropdown. So I thought I could find this setting in the dropdowns of ‘Width’ and ‘Height’ in Athens. But unfortunately, it seems like there’s no min-width or min-height setting in Stack Layout?
So I’m wondering — does Stack Layout simply not have this property setting yet, or am I just not finding it?

Hey Howie,
Welcome to the Forum!
Min-width is not currently available for stacks, but it’s definitely something we want to do. The team is aware of the interest in having this feature, although we don’t yet have a defined time to work on it.
Let us know if we can assist with anything else.

Hey Jorge,
Thanks for your reply — it’s a pity to hear that, but your reply clears up my confusion at least.
I hope your team can roll out this feature as soon as possible, because the missing min-width property has affected some symbols in our existing Library. We still have to use ‘Smart Layout (Legacy)’ for certain symbols right now.
But I really hope my team can use Stacks without hesitation or workarounds, I think that’s also what your team wants for every Sketch user.
