Gradients bad UX and bug

  • Mac app - 2025.3.1 version.
  • Gradients have so many issues… first, it’s a fitness exercise to save a gradient and then to find it to apply to other shapes!
  • Another exercise is to edit your gradient even worse using your color tokens!
  • When you edit a supposed saved gradient, it does not get that you might be creating a new one, it just rewrites the gradient BUT it does not even update other shapes using the same gradients…
  • Actually, there’s a bug - when you have two or more shapes and go to apply the gradient or add color, the other shape is selected for no reason!

We’ve already spotted and fixed some of the issues you mention in your post. These fixes are already in our public Beta of 2025.3.2, that you can find here. Remember that it’s still a Beta, so we recommend making backups of your work if you plan to use it with your documents.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a precise date to push this version to Production, but you can rest assured we’re working to make it soon.
