Seeing the posts about plugins not working with Athens - I just wanted to say - one of my favorite plugins ‘Find and Replace Text’ still works!

There are a few quirks. It doesn’t work if you have clicked into a text object and the text is selected. Also if there are brackets in the search text it can fail or in some cases like searching on () will crash Sketch. These existed pre-Athens I think..

The user feedback is ‘blink and you miss it’ eg. replaced 23 instances on 12 layers (stays up for a nano second and disappears.

But otherwise this plugin is digital gold.. saved my bacon (Canadian eh) on many occasions. Eg. at the last minute someone says we need to change these 100 labels on 35 artboards. Open plugin.. fixed in 10 seconds!

Update: It still works but I discovered that if there is any mixed text styles in a text object, it may have unpredictable results. Eg. if regular text has a bold heading in it, it might might convert all text objects containing the replaced text with Bold text.
In another case I’d used regular Roboto for all text objects and there were some bullets in the text that used Avenir. When I replaced a word in the document, it converted all the affected text objects to plain Avenir!
This never happened with the old version.
