Maybe it’s just me, but I’d totally relearn a bunch of Sketch shortcuts if they were remapped to follow more universal standards.
And by “standard,” I mostly mean Illustrator — it’s hard to ignore how much it’s influenced every design tool. If you switch between the two, you know the struggle: in Illustrator, V is the Selection Tool (the go-to tool). In Sketch, V activates the Vector Tool (basically the Pen Tool), which throws me off constantly — I hit V expecting to move something and end up drawing a path instead. I keep needing to press Esc, but my muscle memory says otherwise.
Also, I’d love to set certain preferences directly in Sketch. Like opening new documents in tabs instead of windows. I can force that in macOS, but that affects everything — including Finder. And I’m not about to give up using Option + N to open a new Finder window just to fix tab behavior in Sketch.
