After version 2025, all the previous software plug-ins don’t work anymore, including meaXure, which I use to export designs for R&D, and it gives me an error as soon as I export, so have you considered how to make it compatible with the old plug-ins after upgrading? I am happy to use the latest version now, but how can I show the html parameters in the design to the R&D? I feel that your upgrade is quite bad, you don’t think about the users at all, the release is fast, but you don’t think about the users’ needs. I’ve already done my project with the latest version, but I can’t export it!
Hello @majing02
Welcome to the forum, and thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing this. We always try to keep end users in mind with each release, though full support for all third-party products isn’t always possible.
Did you happen to read my colleague’s reply regarding the plugin’s status and some possible alternatives to achieve a similar result? If you do need to rely on that plugin, it’s always possible to download older versions of Sketch.
I hope that helps.
Shouldn’t the right thing for you guys to do be to make the new version compatible with plugins that worked well before? Or let the plugins that designers find good to use continue to work on the latest version of sketch, why don’t you guys pay attention to this when others in the community are having similar problems? You say roll back to the old version, but the reason why you do a major version of the transformation upgrade should be to appreciate the figma automatic layout of the convenience, since the new version to improve the efficiency of work, why do I have to roll back to the old version? And what is the significance of your change? meets.
Developers need to take care of their plugins and update them. The same is with Figma plugins.
You say roll back to the old version
Allow me to clarify my earlier comment. Rolling back to the old version is possible, but only if no other options work for you. It’s not something we recommend lightly.
As my colleague mentioned, we did contact the plugin developers and made an effort to connect with this specific developer. My colleague noted that:
“They no longer support it, and it won’t work with modern operating systems or current versions of Sketch.”
With that in mind, it’s difficult to make sure all plugins remain compatible with the latest version.
Lastly, this functionality is available in our web app.
Hello. We were also using this plugin for security reasons, but unfortunately, we couldn’t use it with Sketch Athens. I found this on internet, and at least the plugin works. I believe the plugin’s language is Chinese.

PS: I know, Sketch’s online handoff tool is quite good, but it would be great if they offered a dedicated solution for teams like us who work locally, or at least, it would have been very helpful if they had updated this plugin to be compatible with Sketch’s latest capabilities.
