The new multi-renaming of layers and artboards is great, but I still find myself using the ‘Rename It’ plugin for it’s ability to type (!) placeholders for incrementing / decrementing values and layer properties.
Having to use the mouse to select the variables feels cumbersome and gives you less options (e.g. you cannot select to have to digit counters).
Since we can already use RegEx it seems like an easy addition to add typeable (!) variable modifiers.
Kudos to Rodrigo Soares http://rodi.design for developing and maintaining this essential plugin but I think we can agree this does not have to be a plugin.
